Homestay in Woolston

Hello :)
I offer a calm, cosy home that feels restful to come back to at the end of the day. I enjoy reading and studying (usually with a bit of music in the background), so the house is generally peaceful, but it’s also a place where family and friends regularly gather.
I’m in my late-40s and work in youth and community-focused work, so creating a calm, respectful home environment is important to me. I work from home occasionally, but am mostly out during the day.
The house has two living spaces, which means there’s always room to have your own space as well as places to sit, relax, and chat. I value a home that is comfortable for everyone who lives here. I enjoy a good conversation and am also happy to share meals occasionally, while understanding the importance of personal space and downtime.
I think this home would suit someone who is friendly, considerate, and happy to be part of a shared living environment — not in a “chores list” kind of way, just someone willing to do their part so the house runs well for everyone.
I have one bedroom available for short or longer-term stays. You’ll be sharing the home with me, and my five-year-old cat who is friendly but not demanding. The house is fully furnished, and the bedroom includes a bed and double wardrobe. There is one bathroom, a fireplace and heat pump for warmth, and the house is sunny and welcoming. We are located directly opposite a park with tennis courts, a swimming pool, playgrounds, and a running track.
The price includes power, heating, and unlimited internet.
Please note that some of the photos were taken when I first purchased the house, so a few pieces of furniture have changed, but the spaces and layout remain the same.
