We’re happy to offer a comfortable, semi‑self‑contained space in our quiet home, nestled in the beautiful Heathcote Valley.
Your accommodation includes a fully furnished bedroom with walk‑in robe, opening into your own private lounge area with study desk, dining table, smart TV and fridge. You’ll also have your own shower and toilet, plus separate access with multiple entry points. Off street parking is readily available.
Our home is well suited to students, professionals, or anyone looking for a calm, welcoming base, whether for a short stay or something longer-term. Our previous guest happily called this space home for over 16 months.
The location is excellent for study and work — on a main bus route and beside a safe cycleway into the city and hospital. We’re just a 5‑minute drive to Lyttelton and the surrounding bays, around 10 minutes to Christchurch’s best beaches, and approximately 25 minutes to the airport. With the Port Hills right on our doorstep, there are plenty of walking and biking tracks, and the semi‑rural setting makes every day walks a pleasure.
We’re warm, friendly and inclusive hosts, living in a relaxed, respectful household. It’s just a laid‑back mum and child, happy to give you your privacy or enjoy a chat if you feel like it. We also have one independent outdoor cat. If you have a well‑behaved furry companion, this may be possible by arrangement.
