I'm an easy going 55 year old professional guy with an engineering/startup background. I have a partner but she is not living with me. Zero alcohol tolerated. I NEVER drink at home. Unfortunately there are no shops or cafes within walking distance. I speak conversational Spanish. I'm fairly quiet at home - I do most of my socialising at my friends' places.

I am looking for a *very* independent person. I'm interested in languages, so I can teach English if you spend the same amount of time teaching me your language: that is presuming that I'm interested in learning your particular language (especially Korean, and Sign language). I think I would prefer someone who works and is a bit more mature. I am intending to travel to Korea and I would like to learn some basics of language.

I can provide contacts for female and male acquaintances of a variety of ages that can vouch that I'm not a creep if that helps! I'm ideally looking for someone to stay for up to 8 weeks. I don't want to commit to more than that, but I would consider extending the length of stay if there's no problems after a trial period.

I can easily provide a study desk and work chair. I cannot provide breakfast, prepared lunch or dinner sorry: that would restrict me too much. Happy to do flatmate cooking duties a couple of days a week. There is one large upstairs living area. There is only one toilet/shower. The shower has heaps of hot water with good pressure! The room doesn't have curtains at present, but I'll fix that before you move in as a guest. There is a boogie board and foamie surfboard you could borrow but even with your own good wetsuit it is probably too cold at the beach at present. No smoking inside or outside. Covered parking. Bus route 60 and the bus stop is just outside my property.
