Hi there.
We are available for female accommodation.
We are a small family with a Labrador puppy and cats. We have a clean, tidy and relaxed home environment, which is kept cool over summer and warm and cosy over the winter months.
Available are two lovely rooms, great if your travelling with a friend.
Bedroom one is a clean and modern double sized bedroom. In the room is a comfy king single bed (large single), a desk, television, heater, drawers, double wardrobe, quality linen etc.
Bedroom two is a clean and modern smaller double sized bedroom with a queen sized bed, side drawers, heater and a night stand. It has a double wardrobe, quality linen and bedding etc.
These two bedrooms share the main bathroom.
We supply breakfast foods for you to help yourself as well as laundry facilities. We also have small veggie patch with seasonal products for you to share.
You will need to pay two weeks for a bond, and one week in advance to secure the room.
Due to covid occasionally changing situations at the last minute, a full refund will be given with proof of cancelled flights or sailings.
Whether you’re from out of town, a NZ student, or an exchange student, we will make you feel like you are a part of our family, help you find your way around, and can show you what Christchurch city has to offer in our spare time too!
If needed, I can drop students off to Canterbury university in the mornings, Monday - Friday, and possibly do a pick up in the afternoon as well. The bus to uni, malls, city is approximately a 3 minute walk away.
We love going to the beach in the summer and have a spare surfboard if you’re keen to join in! We also like the occasional weekend away and don’t mind if you want to come along.
Board games and movies are a favourite here for those cold winter days after sports!
We are pretty central to the CBD, less than a 8 minute drive, easy walking distance to bus routes, which allows access to everything in Christchurch, and we also have a bicycle you could use if you’d like.
Depending on the situation, I can help younger students (under the age of 18) with getting to and from school etc, and with 3 meals daily for an extra charge.
