We are a family of three from China, consisting of my wife, our young son, and me. We are planning to stay in Christchurch for approximately three months after Chinese New Year 2027, so our son can attend a local preschool and experience life in New Zealand.
We are hoping to find a welcoming local family with a child of a similar age, as we would love for the children to play together and for our family to experience everyday Kiwi family life. We plan for our son to attend preschool four days a week, leaving us with weekends to explore Christchurch and travel around the South Island.
We are friendly, respectful, and easygoing, and we would love to share meals, conversations, and cultural experiences with our host family. We hope to make our stay a meaningful experience for both our son and our family, while building genuine connections with local people.
