Maina Osteen

Hello! My name is Osteen, my friends call me Maina, and I'm from Nairobi, Kenya. I'll be moving to Christchurch to study professional flight training at the International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ) as I work toward my goal of becoming an airline pilot.

I'm respectful, tidy, easy to get along with, and enjoy getting to know people from different cultures. I'm a Christian, and my faith is an important part of my life. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, swimming, reading, and learning new things. I'm also excited to experience New Zealand's culture and explore the beautiful South Island.

My studies will be my main focus, so I'll spend a lot of time in class, studying, and flying. I value a peaceful home environment, and I'm always happy to help around the house and respect household rules.

I'm looking forward to becoming part of a welcoming home, learning from my host family, and sharing a little of Kenyan culture in return. Thank you for considering me, and I hope to meet you soon!
