Hi! My name is Maaike and I’m from the Netherlands. I’ll be coming to Christchurch for about six months for my studies and an internship. I’m really excited to spend some time in New Zealand and experience daily life there while exploring the country.
I’m an easygoing, friendly and tidy person who enjoys a relaxed home environment. In my free time I love travelling and photography, so I’m really looking forward to discovering New Zealand and capturing some of its beautiful landscapes.
I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures, but I also appreciate quiet time and respecting everyone’s space at home. I’m used to living with others and always try to be considerate and easy to live with. And if there happen to be pets in the house, that’s absolutely fine with me—I grew up around animals and enjoy having them around.
