I'm Michael, I'm 27 from Mumbai, India, and I've had previous experience renting and house-sharing with people from different backgrounds when I used to study and work in the UK.
I'll be moving to Christchurch in New Zealand in January to pursue my Master's Degree in International Law and Politics at The University of Canterbury.
I like to keep to myself, but I can also be social when the situation comes about. I do enjoy spending time with my housemates, going out with them from time to time and just chilling after studies/work.
My budget is of around 320 NZD weekly - all inclusive, and I'm preferably looking for an ensuite room/own bathroom. I'm aiming to move to Christchurch by the 19th of January, 2026, and I'm looking for accommodation at least for a year.
This would be my second Master's degree overseas, and I hope to find a place to call home while I ground my footing in a new country, restarting life.
